Ferrovial Construction, one of the world’s leading infrastructure firms, has been selected by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) as the Best Value Proposer for the I-85 at SR 42/North Druid Hills Road Project in Atlanta, Georgia.
Construction is scheduled to begin late 2023, with substantial completion estimated by August 2025.
The $79-million design-build improvement project will help reduce crash frequency and congestion at the intersection of I-85 at SR 42/North Druid Hills Road, as well as replace an aging bridge over Peachtree Creek in DeKalb County. Ferrovial Construction is currently managing the Transform 285/400 highway improvement project in Atlanta.
